Unity of Monterey Bay (UMB) is an inclusive and affirming spiritual community that welcomes all people (all races, cultures, religions, sexual orientations) and honors the God of each of our understanding. While part of a Christian heritage, UMB recognizes all paths to the sacred and seeks to inform our own spiritual journey with the sacred insights and perspectives of other traditions.

PURPOSE: We exist to invite and support ALL people to know God's love and to be the voice and heart through which heaven is made known on earth.

VISION: Living our purpose, we realize God's plan for Unity of Monterey Bay and co-create a vibrant, loving and inclusive spiritual community that:

• Creates a welcoming, inclusive, affirming, inspiring weekly worship service that invites a deepening relationship with God and a realization of our innate spiritual nature;
• Presents diverse opportunities for spiritual development and practice of positive Truth principles;
• Facilitates opportunities for heartfelt service to community, world and God in our daily lives;
• Promotes understanding of and respect for the diverse spiritual practices of the world;
• Demonstrates principles of spiritual abundance and responsible stewardship to fulfill and sustain our divine purpose.
